  5. Some children could not attend school when there was work to do on the farm. One of their duties was planting the crops.

  7. Select a crop to plant and follow the instructions below :

  11. √ you need a planter (pop bottle bottom), soil, peat moss, and a seed.
  12. √ fill the planter to a volume of 150 cm2 (about 60 inches2) with soil
  13. √ fill the planter to a volume of 200 cm2 (about 90 inches2) by adding peat moss
  14. √ mix the soil and peat moss in the planter
  15. √ dig a small hole 5 cm (about 2 inches) deep in the middle of the soil and peat
  16. √ put the seed in the hole
  17. √ cover the seed with soil and peat moss
  18. √ water planted seed every three days
